The Food for Life movement began in Kyiv back in 1994 and was legally registered in 2001.
Over time, like-minded people in other cities joined the movement — branches appeared in Odesa (since 2017), Dnipro (since 2018) and in Kharkiv (since 2023).
The team now working in Kharkiv was already involved with the main organization before the Kharkiv branch became a separate legal entity — Charitable Foundation "Food for Life Kharkiv".

Revenue for 2025 grew more than threefold compared to 2024.
The Foundation does not engage in commercial activity.
Everything we receive goes to our charitable mission — groceries, fuel, the kitchen.
Where the Money Goes
The Foundation spends donations on:
- purchasing groceries for cooking meals
- fuel for delivering cooked food to distribution points
- kitchen equipment and consumable supplies
- utility bills (electricity, gas)
